We identified a broadly reactive SARS-CoV-2 – 87G7 – that potently neutralized Omicron and other variants of concern. The 8 partners of MANCO officially launched the project at the kick-off meeting on 17th April 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, a physical meeting was not possible so the MANCO kick-off meeting was held via videoconference. This did not stop this meeting from being successful. The MANCO project has been awarded €3 million from the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 Programme.
